Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Social AutoPilot stores platform connection credentials and ingested activity (such as comments on your owned media) to power its command-center features. Use the steps below to remove access and request deletion of data stored by Social AutoPilot.

1. Revoke platform access

You can revoke Social AutoPilot's access to your Instagram account at any time through your Instagram or Meta account settings (Apps and Websites / Business integrations). Revoking access stops future API access even if tokens remain on the server until removed.

2. Disconnect inside Social AutoPilot

If you have access to the Social AutoPilot command center:

  1. Sign in at the login page.
  2. Open the Accounts page.
  3. Use Disconnect for the Instagram account you want to remove.

Disconnecting removes stored OAuth tokens for that connection in Social AutoPilot and marks the connection as disconnected. Disconnect does not delete previously ingested comments, conversations, or derived semantic or attention records.

3. Delete stored imported and derived social data

Deletion of stored imported and derived social data is a separate operator action from Disconnect. When you operate your own Social AutoPilot deployment, an authenticated deployment operator may remove imported conversation and message data, together with associated derived semantic and attention records, for a selected connected social account while signed in to the command center.

This deletion operation removes ingested platform activity and derived records for the selected account. It does not by itself revoke OAuth credentials; use Disconnect separately if you also want to remove stored tokens for that connection.

If you do not operate the deployment yourself, contact the administrator of the Social AutoPilot instance you authorized and request deletion of stored data for your connected account.

4. What deletion covers

Authorized operator deletion of imported social data for a selected account removes, as applicable:

  • ingested platform events (such as comments) tied to that account;
  • conversations and related coaching or inbox records derived from that ingested activity, where stored;
  • derived semantic AI records tied to those conversations, including stored classifications (AIAnalysis), provider audit runs (AIProviderRun), and attention score records with contributions linked to deleted conversation data.

OAuth token removal remains a separate Disconnect action unless the deployment operator also revokes credentials as part of their operational procedure.

Some audit or security logs may be retained for a limited period if required for troubleshooting or legal obligations of the deployment operator.
