Terms of Service

The service

Social AutoPilot may provide, depending on configuration and authorized capabilities:

• account connection and health visibility for supported platforms;
• ingestion and organization of authorized owned-content and engagement signals;
• inbox, attention, and coaching surfaces that prioritize work for human review;
• analytics and performance context derived from authorized data;
• AI-assisted drafts and recommendations that remain subject to human review.

Coach Mode is the default safety posture. Social AutoPilot does not enable autonomous outbound posting, liking, reposting, or unsupervised mass engagement. Any outbound write that a deployment supports requires explicit human approval and an explicit send or publish action when that feature is enabled by the deployment operator.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Social AutoPilot only for lawful purposes and only with accounts you are entitled to manage. You must not:

• attempt to bypass authentication, ownership checks, or capability gates;
• use the application to harass, spam, deceive, or violate applicable law or platform rules;
• probe, scrape, or reverse engineer the application except as permitted by law;
• interfere with service integrity, security, or other operators' data;
• misrepresent Social AutoPilot as affiliated with any third-party platform.

Account connections and OAuth

Connecting a social account requires you to complete that platform's OAuth (or equivalent) authorization flow and to grant only the permissions you choose. You are responsible for:

• maintaining credentials for Social AutoPilot sign-in where applicable;
• ensuring you have authority to connect and operate each linked account;
• reviewing scopes and permissions before authorizing access;
• disconnecting or revoking access when you no longer want Social AutoPilot to use an account.

Platform tokens are stored server-side in encrypted form for authorized connector operations. Tokens are not displayed in the ordinary user interface.

Third-party platforms

Social AutoPilot integrates with third-party platforms (for example Instagram or other connectors your deployment enables) through those platforms' official developer products and APIs, subject to each platform's terms, policies, rate limits, and availability.

Social AutoPilot is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform provider. Platform names are used only to describe interoperability.

Platform outages, permission changes, API deprecations, or account restrictions may limit or interrupt features without fault of Social AutoPilot.

User content and connected data

You retain rights in content and data that originate from your accounts. By connecting an account, you authorize Social AutoPilot to process the information necessary to provide the features you use, including profile identifiers, owned media metadata, authorized engagement data, and related coaching or audit records.

You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of content you review, approve, or send through the application when write features are enabled.

Analytics and recommendations

Analytics, attention scoring, discovery aids, and AI recommendations are assistive tools. They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. They do not constitute professional, legal, or marketing advice, and they do not guarantee outcomes on any platform.

When live AI features are enabled by a deployment operator, bounded text may be sent to a configured AI provider solely to support classification or drafting under that deployment's settings. Provider use is subject to the provider's terms.

Service availability

Social AutoPilot is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, be limited by configuration flags, or depend on external APIs and infrastructure. The deployment operator is responsible for hosting, backups, secrets, and operational uptime for each instance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social AutoPilot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities; or damages arising from platform API changes, third-party outages, or actions you take based on recommendations.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid (if any) specifically for the Social AutoPilot deployment during the three months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), except where prohibited by law.

Termination

You may stop using Social AutoPilot at any time by signing out, disconnecting accounts, and requesting deletion as described on the Data Deletion page.

The deployment operator may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, security risk, or operational necessity. Platform providers may revoke OAuth access independently.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Social AutoPilot evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when revisions are published. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for that deployment, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
